A12mini GNSS RTK terminal integrated in a vehicle network with wired Ethernet connection and wireless positioning signals.

Traditional positioning devices in intelligent connected vehicles rely primarily on wireless transmission, which can encounter issues such as signal interference in tunnels, underground areas, or dense urban settings. These conditions often lead to data delays or loss, impacting real-time performance of advanced driver assistance systems, logistics platforms, and automated driving functions.

The A12mini introduces a wired Ethernet solution to complement wireless options. This approach provides a stable, high-bandwidth channel that maintains data integrity regardless of external signal quality, enabling consistent transmission of positioning data, sensor inputs, and control commands.

Core Advantages of Ethernet Integration

Ethernet connectivity offers distinct benefits in automotive applications.

Direct wired links eliminate dependency on mobile networks for critical data flows, supporting high-volume transfers including high-definition imaging and real-time telemetry. The configuration aligns with vehicle controller area network standards, allowing straightforward connection to electronic control units without additional protocol conversions. This streamlined architecture reduces latency and enhances system reliability across multi-sensor environments.

Precision Performance and Technical Specifications

The terminal supports multi-constellation tracking, including GPS L1/L2, BDS B1I/B2I (compatible with BDS-3), GLONASS G1/G2, and QZSS L1/L2, with 156 channels and tracking sensitivity of -163 dBm.

It achieves RTK fixed solution accuracy of 2cm + 1ppm. Dual-antenna configuration provides heading accuracy of 0.1° (1σ) and pitch/roll accuracy of 0.2° (1σ). Additional capabilities include support for JT/T808 protocol, platform parameter adjustments, and extended operating range from -20°C to 65°C.

Compact dimensions of 86×55×22mm and weight of 40g facilitate installation, while aluminum construction and aviation connectors ensure durability in vehicular conditions.

Real-World Applications and Reliability
